Berry & Banana Frozen Pupsicles
INGREDIENTS
2 cups of blueberries (or strawberries, cherries or raspberries) 1 ripe banana 2 tablespoons of honey 1/3 cup peanut butter (low salt and xylitol-free) 2 cups of plain yogurt (unsweetened)
DIRECTIONS
Blend Ingredients: In a blender, combine the berries and banana on a high speed first then add the honey, peanut butter, and finally the yogurt until smooth.
Create the look: If you would like a tie-dye look to your pupsicles, do not fully blend the yoghurt with the berry mix, instead stir it slowly by hand, as you want patches of white and colour to remain.
Fill Molds: Pour the mixture into silicone molds or ice cube trays.
Freeze: Freeze for 4-6 hours or overnight until solid.
Serve: Pop out a treat and give it to your dog for a refreshing snack!
Perfect for a hot summer day! What better way to cool down than with your very own banana berry pupsicle. You can even use this frozen sorbet inside Kongs, or a similar treat toy, as a great enrichment activity while you're not home.
